Setting Up Recycled Parts Update Preferences

This feature allows you to specify preferences for retrieving and updating Recycled Parts Services (RPS) data. Options in this feature include the following:

You will be prompted to request updated RPS data when the workfile is opened and the RPS data has expired.

To set up RPS retrieval preferences

  1. Select the Configure Dashboard, and then select the Settings option from the Configuration panel.
  2. Click on the Recycled Parts link located on the Configuration panel.
  3. Select the update frequency in days from the droplist.
  4. Select the update method (automatically or manually).
  5. Select to update the data by supplier or by zip code radius.
